I’m Izzy Fischer, co-founder of DailyBasis, a women’s health brand building life-stage–based nutrition solutions, starting with menstruating women.
DailyBasis was born from lived experience. After navigating an eating disorder, nutrient deficiencies, irregular cycles, and chronic hormonal symptoms, I saw a massive gap in how wellness products address female biology. I partnered with my co-founder, Sophie Allen, to build a science-backed, cycle-aware system designed for real women—not one-size-fits-all nutrition.
Before DailyBasis, I founded my first company at 23 in the endurance athlete space, then moved into brand leadership roles within traditional CPG. Seeing how legacy wellness brands are built—and where they fail—shaped my conviction to build a company that balances strong commercial fundamentals with real health outcomes.
I’m passionate about building women-led companies, redefining leadership in wellness, and creating products that earn long-term trust. I enjoy conversations around female health, entrepreneurship, brand strategy, and scaling mission-driven consumer brands.
