What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

The Security Operations group is a multi-functional organization that includes Trust & Safety, CSIRT, Threat Intelligence and Insider Threat. While no two days will end up looking the same, as a specialist within the Trust & Safety team generally-speaking you’ll be responsible for the following things:

ATO Expert
- You are an analytical thinker and are ready to dig in and become an expert on ATOs.
Detail Oriented
- You don’t skimp on the details, you are laser focused on analyzing the details, nothing misses your analysis.
Knowledge management
- You have helped train people before and you know how to break down a complex problem into simple steps to teach others. You find teaching others to be exhilarating and you look forward to helping others succeed.
Root Cause Identification
- In addition to being an analytical thinker you are able to distill down the facts to identify patterns and their root cause.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

You have been working in the Trust & Safety space for a couple years now (3+ years), at this point you are familiar with common Account Take Over vectors and causes, and you have helped respond to mitigate them.
You are customer obsessed, you have some experience directly interacting with customers and are able to understand the customer lifecycle as it pertains to ATOs.
You're an operator at heart and are comfortable building and managing processes, scaling knowledge and process across large teams.
You frequently get praise from your peers and coworkers about your communication skills, both written and verbal
You can translate complex findings and results into a concise and compelling narrative

Nice to haves:

Process excellence training

QA experience
Green Belt or similar Lean Six Sigma training

Pay Transparency Notice:

Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range:

$135,320—$159,200 USD
