Job description
Education
: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field required.Insurance Domain Experience
: At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a broker, underwriter, or risk professional with a deep understanding of insurance coverage, policy structure, and contractual requirements.Vendor Management Expertise
: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vendor management, procurement, third-party oversight, or a comparable function—preferably within a regulated or enterprise-level environment.Carrier Engagement
: Demonstrated track record of working with major insurance carriers, brokers, and underwriters to develop and implement insurance strategies aligned to business needs.Product Knowledge
: Direct experience managing and negotiating a wide range of commercial insurance products, including but not limited to D&O, E&O, Cyber, Professional Liability, Specie, and other enterprise-level coverages.Relationship Management
: Proven ability to build, manage, and optimize third-party relationships, including at the executive level, across all phases of the vendor lifecycle.Strategic Thinking & Execution
: Strong business judgment and the ability to operate independently while balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution.Communication Skills
: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing reports and presenting to senior stakeholders.Attention to Detail
: Meticulous organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.Adaptability & Initiative
: Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to take ownership and lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment—no task is too big or too small.Technical Acumen
: Proficient with tools and systems used in vendor governance, data analysis, and workflow automation; experience implementing performance dashboards and intake processes is a plus.Sector Experience

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.
