We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Regional President to lead a group of four restaurants in the Virginia Beach area. This is a unique leadership role ideal for a hands-on operator who thrives in fast-paced, guest-focused environments, and wants to shape the future of small business through employee ownership.
You will provide strategic and operational oversight across these businesses, with a focus on driving P&L performance, team development, guest satisfaction, and long-term growth. Additional information (https://www.teamshares.com). What You Will Do:
- Serve as Regional President of four Teamshares network restaurants in the food and beverage sector.
- Set and execute business strategy, in concert with brand leaders, with responsibility for P&L, profitability, and growth.
- Oversee operational excellence, compliance, and consistency across all locations.
- Guide the transition to employee ownership by fostering a culture of accountability and pride.
Operations & Team Management
- Lead and support a team of existing managers and employee-owners.
- Establish scalable operational systems and processes to improve efficiency and guest experience.
- Prioritize staff development, performance reviews, and succession planning.
Financial Stewardship
- Drive the financial strategy and oversight of the region with CFO-level rigor, including revenue forecasting, cost control, capital allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Provide strong financial leadership by partnering with bookkeepers and Teamshares financial experts to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic alignment.
- Lead the development and tracking of key business metrics (KPIs) to support informed, transparent decision-making across all locations.
- Guide budgeting, cash flow planning, and capital investment strategies to ensure financial health and support long-term growth objectives.
Guest & Community Engagement
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and uphold exceptional guest experiences across all sites.
- Build partnerships with local vendors, suppliers, and community organizations.
Growth & Innovation
- Identify new revenue opportunities including menu innovation, local marketing campaigns, and location-level initiatives.
- Lead strategic planning for long-term sustainability, expansion, and product diversification.
What You Have:
- Minimum 7 years in food and beverage management with multi-unit leadership experience.
- Proven success in running high-volume restaurant operations and leading diverse teams.
Operational Leadership
- Strong understanding of restaurant P&L, staffing models, compliance, and day-to-day service dynamics.
- Experience implementing systems to ensure consistency, efficiency, and profitability.
People & Culture Champion
- High emotional intelligence with a track record of developing team members and fostering strong, inclusive culture.
- Comfortable managing performance, mediating conflict, and aligning teams to shared goals.
Financial/Strategic Acumen
- Clear ability to balance short-term tactical execution with long-term business planning.
- Strong analytical skills, project management experience, and bias for action.
- High-level financial expertise, with experience in P&L ownership, forecasting, budgeting, and capital planning—ideally in a multi-unit or CFO-like capacity within the hospitality or F&B industry.
