The Role
We are seeking a Bitcoin Engineer with experience in crypto-related workflows. In this role, you will build tools that interact with Bitcoin and Ordinals protocols, creating advanced experiences that leverage the unique capabilities of Ordinals. You will play a crucial part in engineering cutting-edge products within our innovative venture studio.
Responsibilities
Platform Development:
Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust blockchain-based web platforms focused on Ordinal Inscriptions.Application & API Development:
Develop custom applications, APIs, and tools that interact with Bitcoin and Ordinals protocols.Optimization:
Optimize Ordinal transactions and scripts for lower costs and enhanced user experiences.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to integrate blockchain solutions seamlessly.Problem-Solving:
Tackle novel problems requiring multidisciplinary knowledge and creativity within the blockchain space.Documentation:
Write comprehensive documentation guiding best practices for development with Ordinals and related blockchain technologies..Requirements
Blockchain Expertise:
Proven experience with Bitcoin and Web3 technologies.Programming Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, and Python.Understanding of Blockchain Concepts:
Familiarity with blockchain principles, especially related to Bitcoin transactions and protocols.Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of UTXOs, Bitcoin transactions, Ordinals, and Inscriptions.Nice to Have:
Transaction Construction:
Ability to construct manual Bitcoin transactions and Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs).Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Open-Source Contributions:
Contributions to leading Ordinals projects or other open-source blockchain repositories.Innovative Mindset:
Curiosity and eagerness to explore new ground in creative on-chain development.Adaptability:
Ability to rapidly research, prototype, and learn alongside product designers and other team members.
Passion for Blockchain:
A strong passion for expanding Bitcoin’s creative and cultural potential within the blockchain ecosystem.
