I studied finance at the University of Kansas, but was convinced that I wanted to pursue software development by the time I graduated. Some schoolmates and I pursued algorithmic trading, which later on evolved into tools and reports for other traders. This project was my first exposure to frontend projects that require a friendly and intuitive user experience. Since then, I've worked on a plethora of projects that emphasis UI/UX. This includes moving abroad for a handful of years to help start a tech company in hospitality operations. After that, I consulted on small and large projects that required heavy input from the end user. My latest work is in web3 space. My team and I have the enormous challenge of building a interface and experience that is friendly to newly exposed crypto users.
