I work with boards, investors, founders, corporates, ecosystem bodies and public institutions to scale technology and innovation across Europe and globally in complex, high-stakes environments — where capital allocation, governance, and long-term outcomes actually matter. Over the past 25 years, I’ve operated across every layer of the innovation system: consulting (PwC), global technology platforms (Microsoft), startups (Trayport), venture and growth capital, and banking the tech ecosystem (Silicon Valley Bank). I've served on 25+ boards (from startup to FTSE 250) and worked with thousands of founders across Microsoft, Silicon Valley Bank, and the various Entrepreneur networks I help lead. That breadth is intentional. It’s what allows me to see patterns early, translate between different power centres, and help organisations grow without losing strategic control or institutional trust. Today, I operate as a Board Chair, Non-Executive Director (from startup to FTSE 250), Venture Partner, and Independent Advisor, working with technology-led organisations, corporates, VC funds, and leadership teams on scale, governance, capital strategy, and ecosystem positioning. I’m the founder of bindi ventures, a boutique advisory practice focused on supporting founders, boards, investors, corporates, ecosystem organisations and institutions through moments of growth, transition, and increased scrutiny. Alongside my commercial work, I’ve held Senior Advisory and Board roles within Europe’s public-private innovation infrastructure, including the European Innovation Council, Startup Europe, and was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Digital Leaders Group. This experience has given me first-hand insight into how innovation capital is deployed at institutional level — and how founders and funds can engage effectively with public systems. I also serve as Chair of Theatre Royal Stratford East (London) and have held Board and Governor roles within higher education and other public institutions. These roles reflect a broader commitment to innovation, culture and diversity, particularly in environments where technology, talent, and public trust intersect. Born in the UK, raised in Canada, and based in London, I work internationally and am focused on roles and partnerships where technology, innovation, venture, ecosystems, corporates and public institutions converge.
