Founder & CEO, GREENBOX Labs | The Plant Intelligence Platform | AI-Native Research Infrastructure
Well-designed systems reshape what’s possible, structured data amplifies intelligence, and radical empiricism remains the clearest lens for understanding complex natural processes. I’m working with an extraordinary team of co-architects to turn that belief into practice at GREENBOX Labs, where we’re building the instrument layer for global plant intelligence - an integrated platform that grows plants, captures high-resolution biological and environmental data, and converts it into standardized, citable knowledge for research, education, and discovery. Before GREENBOX, I spent a decade leading complex hardware–software ecosystems in big tech, managing global product launches, platform integrations, and cross-functional teams operating at scale. That chapter taught me how to bring clarity, design rigor, and execution discipline to deeply technical products - and how to translate complex systems into experiences people intuitively trust. Along the way, I also built a creative career in photography and narrative design, which shapes my approach to scientific storytelling and product identity. The origin of GREENBOX began, unexpectedly, with a single harvest. After leaving big tech, I took my father’s academic research in plant science seriously for the first time. The experience revealed a massive gap in how the world grows, studies, and documents plants - and the opportunity to build a unified platform that makes high-quality plant science accessible to every lab, classroom, and researcher on the planet. That realization became a company, a mission, and now a fast-growing research network backed by scientists from leading research institutions. I’m driven by the long view: creating infrastructure that outlives any individual project, accelerates scientific progress, and expands access to knowledge. My goal is to help build systems that maximize human and planetary well-being through tools that generate real, reproducible evidence. If you’re working at the intersection of plant science, AI systems, controlled-environment research, or scientific instrumentation - and believe the future depends on how we structure and steward data - I’d love to connect.
