CTO | Co-Founder | Governable Financial Infrastructure | Payments, Digital Assets, AI & Institutional Technology
I operate where systems are expected to work and don’t.Most systems fail at the boundary between design and execution. That is where I operate.Financial infrastructure, payment rails, digital asset platforms, and distributed systems rarely fail where they are designed. They fail under load, across integrations, through operational dependencies, and when exposed to real users and real money.I operate as an independent CTO based in Switzerland, working globally with companies, institutions, founders, and investors. My background spans payments, financial infrastructure, blockchain, digital assets, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology. One pattern has remained consistent:Systems usually fail long before the technology does. They fail due to governance gaps, operational complexity, weak execution, unclear ownership, and an inability to scale beyond controlled environments. At The Hashgraph Association, I helped provide structure and technical direction across a $100M+ global ecosystem. At Baanx, I helped stabilise and scale a multichain payment infrastructure that connects wallets, stablecoins, liquidity, banking partners, card networks, and blockchain ecosystems. My work focuses on:• transaction infrastructure and execution layers• on-chain and off-chain operating models• governance, engineering discipline, and operational control• risk across technical and organisational boundaries• operating under regulatory, financial, and security constraintsDecades of operating financial and technology systems have led to the development of Governable Trust Architecture: a framework that examines authority, accountability, operational resilience, and institutional trust across programmable financial systems. The central question:Not whether systems can execute, but whether institutions can govern, supervise, and rely upon that execution under real-world conditions.Programmability determines what a system can do.Governability determines whether institutions can rely on the system's outcomes.Areas of focus:Payments • Digital Assets • Stablecoins • Blockchain • Web3 • Multichain Infrastructure • Identity • Trust Architecture • Distributed Systems • DevSecOps • Cybersecurity • AI/ML • Transaction Processing • Operational Resilience • GovernanceOperating globally from Switzerland.
