I am known for building and developing high preforming cyber and technology risk functions. My prior roles have been in global financial institutions where I have built teams from scratch. I am used to working with regulators and delivering solutions that protect the enterprise and deliver consumer trust. Authentic and bold, I often challenge the status quo. I believe that everyone in a company has a responsibility for security; good cyber health and hygiene cannot be achieved through technology alone, it needs the buy in at every level of the firm. People are an important part of delivering solutions and ensuring they understand that, is key to protecting a brand. A strategic thinker, I bring a wide range of operational risk experience to govern and oversee the approach necessary to managing the ever-evolving technology and cyber risks that companies face. I am a keen advocate of diversity and inclusion in the work force, and have been instrumental in the development of good practices for employee network groups and policies to support LGBTQ+ employees; I strongly believe diverse groups are significantly more productive. I am a board qualified technology expert (QTE) and a student of the NACD Accelerate Program.
