I thrive on connecting aligned people and projects together, and in the last year successfully raised over $4M for pre-seed and seed blockchain startups. My growth strategy begins with relationships which I deeply value from my early days at ConsenSys and EF. As Lead, Crypto Ecosystem, I led a multi-chain and multi-wallet growth for the first dedicated crypto web browser through partnerships and integrations. I enjoy the role of connective tissue between business development, engineers, and marketing. I'm a natural connector, collaborator, mentor, and thought leader at Web3 industry events and blockchain developer conferences worldwide. My obsession with blockchain technology started in 2017 while researching how Syrian refugees are processed and receive aid in Jordan. I lived and worked in Egypt, Israel and Palestine for many years and have a close affinity to my old colleagues and our work in the social impact sector. WFP refugee camps successfully use blockchain technology to settle entitlement transactions paperless. I had to be a part of the technology that supports and empowers people by reducing bureaucratic processes and fraud. This use case became the bridge from my many years at The World Bank and USAID, to blockchain.
