“The emerging technology space is the most fascinating space I could have ever imagined working in! I once considered travelling as my biggest passion (~30 countries and counting) but I never imagined combining it with my business development passion providing highest values to potential clients and really getting on the ground understanding and learning the projects from the most talented people around the globe." It is so much more fun talking about ideas about the future than just wondering in a city myself. Starting the journey with blockchain and gradually getting to understand the potential of other emerging technologies (A.I/M.L, IoT, etc) can bring, the entrepreneurial spirit within me is only growing exponentially every day, I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals who want more than just a 9-5 job to pay bills. I am trilingual and bring a global perspective along with my education background in Economics/ Finance and my extended experiences working in Marketing, Strategies, Consulting, and Data/Financial Analysis. I worked in China (including HK) and Canada and I am very passionate about helping to bridge the cultural gap between the East and the West. Achievements include: 1) Being the very early adopter in blockchain technology and helped blockchain startups to deliver several successful ICOs (with Ambisafe) 2) Quick at spotting talents and help to build a team from 2 to 20+ members at FAB. 3) Connection with VCs and help with deal sourcing/ exchange deal flow as well as due diligence process (Polymath). 4) Built an international network to help to make strategic introductions to accelerate growth as well as landing valuable clients (CBX/ Awakening Vector). 5) Helped leading blockchain companies with their expansion plans in Asia and North America by showing presence, community building, and online marketing (branding). 6) Relentless learning about the changes in emerging technology space and understands new businesses to identify opportunities (life-long commitment) As an individual who loves critical thinking, excessive debating, Emily is curious, analytical and ambitious who enjoys observation and constant growth and learning. She is a natural people person and she strongly believes in the power of networking in bringing key partners together to succeed together (to give before to take)!
