With over 8 years of experience in the fields of angel investing, business strategy, and start-ups, I am passionate about supporting the growth and innovation of web 3 projects in the UAE and MENA regions. As a consultant for Abu Dhabi, I leverage my network, expertise, and credentials to make introductions to C-suites of top UAE enterprises, and provide soft landing services for web 3 companies targeting the market. I am driven by the vision of creating a more decentralized, transparent, and secure digital world. I am also an advisor at IBC Group, the fastest growing citizen journal media company with 2 billion impressions monthly, These positions allow me to apply my skills in angel investing, business strategy, and start-ups, and to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the web 3 space. I enjoy working with talented and visionary entrepreneurs, and helping them achieve their goals and scale their impact.

I've been building great web experiences for over a decade now. I believe in creating products that are useful, beautiful and usable for everyone. For nearly two decades I've been the architect of several platforms from concept to launch, where I learned how to build successful applications using Web Development, React & Vue while working with teams to deliver robust back-end infrastructure.

At Sentient, we are building state-of-the-art open-source AI. We bring together and incentivize developers to take down closed-source incumbents and make open-source AI win. Track my journey @oleg_golev on X. I am an alumnus of Princeton University where I received my B.S.E. and M. Eng. degrees in Computer Science as a first-generation student. My research background is very broad, with projects and papers in systems, AI, and HCI (advised by Professors Wyatt Lloyd, Amit Levy, Pramod Viswanath, and Parastoo Abtahi). My engineering background is in developing reliable, scalable, distributed SaaS solutions and low-latency data pipelines. When I'm not working, I love dancing, drumming, fighting, and learning new recipes. Feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] if it's about AI, crypto, mindfulness, or anything in-between. I also love avocado toast.
