I began my recruiting career at Robert Half Technology, where I built a strong foundation in technical hiring, market insights, and client advisory. My passion for emerging technology eventually drew me into the Web3 space. After supporting growth at Firefly Software and Unbounce, I joined Dapper Labs during its breakout period, scaling core engineering and product teams while the broader crypto ecosystem was rapidly expanding. I was promoted to Talent Acquisition Lead, where I helped design recruiting infrastructure and pipelines across both Dapper and Flow Blockchain. At Flow, I drove global hiring strategies across engineering, protocol, and ecosystem functions, building high-performing, mission-driven teams to bring blockchain technology into the mainstream. Today, I serve as the first Talent hire and Talent Lead for Story, an emerging protocol redefining IP ownership and on-chain creativity. I partner closely with founders to drive strategic hires across smart contracts, engineering, design, and go-to-market. From zero-to-one hiring systems to ecosystem-wide talent strategies, I operate at the intersection of crypto, culture, and human capital. I’m deeply committed to helping founders scale responsibly, connect with aligned talent, and bring Web3 to the masses.

Ben is a thought leadership expert and tech-savvy writer currently working for the Silicon Valley startup Story, where he creates impactful content around emerging technologies. His pieces have been featured in renowned publications such as a16z Future and Stanford Blockchain Review. Before joining Story, Ben worked for the Vancouver-based startup Dapper Labs, leading technical content marketing and educational initiatives. He holds a master’s degree in Communication.

I lead partnerships for Aptos. We are taking the technology behind the original Libra/Diem stablecoin announced by Facebook (now Meta) in 2019 and rebuilding it as a decentralized layer 1 blockchain for use across crypto and web3 applications. Previously, I managed the Consumer partnerships team at Novi, Meta's crypto group. I led Novi's deals with exchange, liquidity, and custody partners for Diem, and I oversaw the team exploring Meta's partnerships strategy for the introduction of NFTs and other web3 tools into the Meta family of apps and the metaverse. Before Novi, I was Meta's lead deal maker for payments, commerce, and Messenger partnerships and, at PubMatic, was one of the first business and product leads for a real-time bidding exchange that preceded the current bloom of programmatic online advertising technologies.
